Neuro ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Neuro: Quit Porn Now mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and a username of your choosing. We do not require your real name.

Health & Recovery Data

To provide our recovery services, we collect:

• Onboarding quiz responses and dependency score
• Streak and relapse data
• Daily check-in data (mood, urge levels, triggers)
• Journal entries
• Lesson completion progress

Community Data

If you participate in the community forum, battles, or clans, we collect the content you post and your interactions (upvotes, comments).

AI Coach Conversations

Conversations with the AI Coach are processed by Google's Gemini API to generate responses. We do not permanently store conversation content on our servers. Conversations are held in memory during your session only.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the App, such as which features are used most frequently.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalize the recovery program
• To track your progress and deliver milestone notifications
• To enable community features (forums, battles, clans)
• To send notifications you have opted into (pledge reminders, danger hour alerts)
• To improve the App based on anonymous usage patterns

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (powered by PostgreSQL) with:

• Row Level Security (RLS) ensuring you can only access your own data
• Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL)
• Encryption at rest
• Secure authentication via Supabase Auth

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal data.

We share data only with:

• Supabase — database hosting (data processor)
• Google Gemini API — AI Coach conversations (processed in real-time, not stored)
• RevenueCat — subscription management (payment data only)
• Expo/EAS — app delivery infrastructure (no user data)

We will never share your health or recovery data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for marketing purposes.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data
• Opt out of any notifications
• Modify your profile information

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Neuro is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. We classify recovery and health-related data as sensitive personal information and do not use it for advertising or profiling.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email.
